Ministry Update | July 2026

Last month was a significant month for the ministry. Through your support, we connected with hundreds of church leaders, completed the translation of our full suite of resources into Mandarin, and welcomed two new team members.

Before we tell you more, we just want to say thank you. Everything you'll read below happened because people like you chose to partner with this ministry. Your generosity allows us to keep equipping churches to help people walk in freedom from pornography, and we're genuinely grateful to have you on our team.

Here are three things your support did this month:

Connections in the PCA

In the middle of June, we spent several days at the PCA General Assembly, where we connected with hundreds of pastors, parents, and church members from across the country who stopped by our booth.

One pastor shared that as he walked past our booth, he felt his stomach drop. Feeling “very convicted” that he had neglected discipling the people in his church on the issue of pornography, he turned around and came back to talk with us. As we talked through our documentary and Parenting & Pornography, the conversation became practical. Together, we worked through some simple first steps he could take in his church.

Conversations like this continue to confirm something we've believed for a long time: pastors want to address pornography—they're often just looking for a clear place to begin.

That's one of the reasons we're developing Ignite, a new in-person event designed to help churches start these conversations. The vision is simple: two main teaching sessions, guided discussion groups, and an extended Q&A to help pastors and churches move from conviction to action.

Now Available in Mandarin

Last year, after a parenting workshop in Washington, D.C., several Chinese women approached us with a simple request: would we consider translating our resources into Mandarin so they could share them with churches they knew in China? That conversation eventually led to a volunteer translation effort that, this past month, completed the translation of our full library of core resources into Mandarin.

Rather than relying on a machine translation, a Chinese brother from our church coordinated a team of volunteers who carefully worked through each resource. We're deeply grateful for the many hours they invested so churches in the Chinese-speaking world can receive biblically faithful resources.

We're grateful for the many volunteers who made this possible, and we pray these resources will help churches throughout the Chinese-speaking world faithfully teach God's design for sexuality.

The Team is Growing

This month we also welcomed two new members to the Into the Light team.

Josh Lovett recently joined us as our Director of Operations, where he'll help strengthen the systems that support our growing ministry. Will Fannin has also officially stepped into the role of Director of Church Partnerships & Marketing after completing support raising. Many of you helped make Will's role possible, and thank you for being part of that.

Together, Josh and Will will help us equip more churches in the years ahead.

When a pastor finds the courage to address pornography for the first time, when a church on the other side of the world receives sound biblical resources in its own language, and when we’re able to serve more churches than ever before—you are a part of that story.
