If parenting were easy, you
wouldn’t be here.

 Get equipped. Protect your children.

Porn is the Great
Discipler of our Generation

The multi-billion-dollar porn industry doesn’t care that you’re doing your best as a parent; they only want customers. Do you think your kids won’t encounter pornography? The average age of exposure is just eight years old, and that includes children raised in Christian homes.

Ask yourself these questions:

Can you explain the dangers of pornography in age-appropriate ways?

Do you know what to do if your child sees porn?

Are you confident in talking to your child about God’s design for sex?

Can you answer all the questions they have?

Do you know if the devices in your home are 100% protected?

If you have questions — you’re in the right place.

It wasn't until I discovered Into The Light that we felt like we had a path forward. Your Parenting & Pornography series became our opportunity to talk to the entire congregation about this issue, focusing on educating and protecting the next generation via parents. Keep up the excellent work!

I was very encouraged to get a roadmap for thinking about technology as our kids get older. Thank you for taking the time to prepare such wonderful material, and I pray God uses it for the good of many families and for His glory!

This is an absolutely amazing series. Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication that you and your team put into creating this resource. I had never thought much about how I would address this topic with my son, and was honestly planning on taking a "bury your head in the sand and hope it never comes up" approach because I had no idea what to say, how to say it, or how to even begin to address the topic. Thank you so very much for the intentionality and the deeply practical guidelines and ideas on how to approach a topic that I am now convinced is my responsibility as a parent to address.

What is at stake?

Not being proactive is a choice. Not protecting your children from pornography is a choice. “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” 1 Timothy 5:8

We are serious about parents taking responsibility for their homes because God is. Even if you never visit our website again, we plead with you to love your children enough to protect them. Don’t surrender the discipleship of your children to the porn industry.

That doesn’t have to be your story

God has given you everything you need as a parent. Your technology truly can be safe. Your children can learn about God’s design for sexuality and think is awesome. Your children can fall and get back up again because you know how to extend gospel grace to them. Your children can walk down the aisle, not perfect, but saying, “I never got hooked on pornography.”

Having finished this plan, you will:

Have age-appropriate conversations with your children on porn.

Safely navigate technology in your home.

Heal from your own past sin, mistakes, and experiences.

Recognize early signs that your child may be struggling.

Be both serious about sin and passionate about the Gospel.

Teach God’s good design for sexuality, marriage, and family.

Start meaningful conversations with your teens about difficult topics.

God is with you. You got this. Let us help

 Frequently Asked Questions

How much time do I need to commit each week?

Each module takes about 30 minutes to complete. You can go at your own pace.

How does the custom plan work? Can I skip ahead?

Based on the information you submit in our intake questionnaire, we will put together a custom plan for you using our library of ITLM resources. It populates in the order we think is best for your situation, but you can engage with the content in any order you like.

Can I go use this plan on my own or with a group?

You can absolutely watch the Parenting & Pornography series by yourself, but we highly recommend watching it with your spouse if you are married or with a community of parents and/or church members.

Are your resources age-appropriate?

Our Parenting & Pornography series and TechSafe series are best utilized by adults or older teens who have a desire to seek God’s good design for sexuality and fight against sexual sin. We designed the Into The Light documentary and video series to be age-appropriate for as young as 11 or 12; however, anyone under 16 should get parental permission before viewing.

How do I protect every device in my home from pornography?

Our free Techsafe series will walk you through the fundamentals of setting up the devices in your home safely. You can access it here: https://intothelightministries.ca/techsafe

What if I’ve already failed? Is it too late?

It is never too late for God to redeem what you might consider a “failure.” It is okay to acknowledge where you may have fallen short in teaching (or not teaching) your children about biblical sexuality. What matters is where you go from here. We recommend humbly sharing with your child(ren) where you may have failed and ask them for grace and openness in your desire to help them from this point forward. Then equip yourself through prayer, wisdom from other faithful parents, and by watching our Parenting & Pornography series.

How young is too young to talk about sex or pornography?

We believe that it is wise to err on the early side (using age-appropriate categories), in teaching our children about God's good design for sexuality. This requires much thought, wisdom, and an understanding of what your child can handle. Utilizing our Parenting & Pornography series (which will be part of the plan) will help guide you in engaging in these discussions in an age-appropriate manner.

What if I am watching pornography myself?

If you are watching pornography yourself, we would love to be part of helping you find freedom. We recommend starting your own custom plan as a struggler. You can find that here: https://intothelightministries.ca/resources/strugglers

How are these resources free?

All of our resources (with the exception of workbooks) are free thanks to our generous donors. If you are interested in partnering with us in this way, visit: https://intothelightministries.ca/donate.

Where do I get the workbooks?

All of our workbooks can be purchased on Amazon. Links can be found on the resource pages on the website or by searching Into the Light Ministries on Amazon.
